Here are some more adventures in Room 3

Room 3 adventures

Oh dear, it has been a long time since we last updated this website! We have had so much fun in Room 3 this term that Miss Nielsen just hasn't found the time to update. Here are some photos to show you what we have been up to.

We all became bugs for a day with our fantastic bug masks.

We are very good at walking safely down the footpath in our vests.

We went to the fire station with room 2.

Everyone got to pretend to be a fire fighter.

Our Duffy Book assembly in term one was fantastic. We all got to keep 2 books.

Safe Walking

Today we learned all about how to keep safe when we are walking.

We practised crossing the road properly.

We know how to hold hands to keep each other safe.

Do you like our lovely vests? They help other people to see us. People in cars can see us easier when we wear our vests.

School Picnic

On Friday we had the school picnic. It was at Anderson's Park. We had lots of fun and even a surprise visitor! The best part was that our school raised over $300 to send to the Red Cross to help people in Australia who lost their homes.

Bertie Budgie bought some very special Bertie eggs for us to munch on.

Lots of us got our faces painted in Australian colours to support Australia.

These girls were so tired that they had a nap on the fancy mat in the big house!

Our visitor

On Friday we had a visitor called Craig Smith. He sang a very funny song called the Wonky Donkey.

We really enjoyed listening to Craig sing. The Wonky Donkey is our favourite song.

We did the actions for the songs.

Miss Nielsen found the Wonky Donkey song on You tube. Maybe you can too.

Welcome to 2009

Welcome to Room 3 in 2009. We have a very busy year this year. We also have 2 teachers in Room 3. Mrs Hargest and Miss Nielsen. Mrs Hargest will be teaching in the mornings from 9.00 - 11.15.
